Eligibility
SMG participates in Diocesan League sports with other schools in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth.  Students eligible for participation must be in grades 6-8 and must maintain at least a "C" average throughout the course of the season to be considered eligible for participation. 

Sign-up
Sports sign-ups are held in August of each year. Students wishing to participate must complete the sports packet located on the Forms page of our website. This package will be available no later than July 31 of each year.

Play Like A Champion Training
Parents of students who participate in sports are required to attend the Diocesan "Play Like A Champion" Training course for parents each year. This program, initiated at the University of Notre Dame aims to educate parents and spectators on the type of behaviors that are expected from spectators at events within the Fort Worth Diocese. Information about upcoming training classes will be posted on the Calendar as well as in the News section of the Website.
